Navid is the director and principal solicitor of Amity Lawyers, he has specialised exclusively in immigration law. He was admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria as a lawyer and registered with the Victorian Legal Services Board. Navid combines extensive knowledge with a passion for helping clients achieve their migration goals.
His dedication to immigration law began during his work with various pro bono organisations, where he developed a strong commitment to supporting individuals and families in need. Over the years, Navid has built a proud record of working with clients from across the globe, including those based in Melbourne, other parts of Australia, and overseas.
Navid’s extensive experience spans a broad spectrum of migration matters, including Student visas, Skilled migration visas, Employer sponsored visas, Post graduate visas, Family sponsorship including partner visas, Visitor visas, Business and investment visas, Global Talent visas, Protection and humanitarian visas and Australian Citizenship applications.

Sara is a law student who will complete her degree in 2027. She has gained professional experience as a Legal Assistant in some of Australia’s leading law firms. At Maurice Blackburn, she worked in TAC and WorkCover matters, and at Slater & Gordon she supported clients in medical negligence cases. In both roles, she helped people through difficult and sensitive situations with care and attention.
Her own migration journey has given her a real understanding of the challenges that individuals and families face when navigating Australia’s migration system. This experience is what drives her passion for migration law and her commitment to assisting migrants across different communities. Sara focuses on assisting our team and our clients with clear guidance, practical solutions, and compassionate support to help them build stable and meaningful futures in Australia.
Sara is fluent in English, Persian, and Dari. This allows her to connect with clients from many cultural backgrounds and to make sure they feel heard, understood, and supported at every stage of their legal journey.
Outside of her legal career, Sara is a passionate artist and actor. She has performed in numerous stage productions and loves exploring the creative world of theatre and the arts. Her creativity, confidence, and ability to connect with people shine through both on stage and in her work with clients.

Laura is a Legal Assistant at Amity Lawyers and brings both legal knowledge and strong client service skills to the team. She holds a Law degree from Colombia, where she gained valuable experience in intellectual property and copyright law before relocating to Australia.
Since moving to Melbourne three years ago, Laura has combined her legal background with her extensive customer service experience, including work in the hospitality industry. She is passionate about helping people and making sure clients feel welcomed, understood, and supported at every stage of their journey with the firm.
Laura has also been building her knowledge of migration law and enjoys working alongside the team to assist individuals and families navigating Australia’s migration system. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she helps ensure clear and comfortable communication with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys keeping active at the gym and unwinding with true crime movies and documentaries.
