COMMON QUESTIONS

The balance of family test is one of the main requirements you need to comply when applying for your parent visa. Through the balance of family test, the immigration department determines the eligibility of a parent according to the family links in Australia; where the applicant needs to demonstrate that at least half of their children are residing in Australia.

Yes. Most of the partner visas application failed due to the common scenarios:

  • The relationship is not seen as genuine by the Department of Immigration.
  • You did not provide enough documentation to the Immigration case officer.
  • You failed to answer the phone interview with the case officer properly
  • The applicant failed to meet the Heal requirements
  • You or your partner does not meet the Character requirements
  • You have a previous visa cancelled or refuse.

Submitting a partner visa application without proper preparations will cost you money and time. Contact today our migration lawyers to guide you through a successful partner visa application.

You can only apply for this visa if you have an Australian family member who is unable to get the care or support from any other relative or hospital, welfare or a nursing community services in Australia. Also, you will need to provide the completed carer visa assessment from BUPA with your application.

Our advice is to buy tickets once you receive a confirmation of your visa granted. No one can assure that your visa is going to be approved on a specific date. So, do not make travel arrangements before you know the decision.
